The 5th Annual Meeting of the Graduate School took place on Friday, Nov 17th , 2023 in Advantest Böblingen. Principal investigators, PhD students, and Advantest mentors for a total number of 20 projects from the first and second round of GS-IMTR attended the annual meeting. Also the two international advisors Prof. Krishnendu Chakrabarty from Arizona State University and Prof. Said Hamdioui from TU Delft spent time to join the workshop. In addition, the Vice President of Advantest ART Mr. Kotaro Hasegawa and the leader of the research team of Advantest in US Mr. Ira Leventhal flew to German to participate this event.
The one-day workshop had a full program. After some opening speeches and two keynote speeches “Graduate School ASIC” (Prof. Jens Anders) and “Quantum Sensors –Sensors in the Quantum Age” (Dr. VadimVorobev), all PhD students from the first and second round gave a presentation about their project. This was followed by a poster session for an in-depth discussion and a third keynote talk “Recent Trends to Use AI/ML in Semiconductor Test Segment” (Mr. Ira Leventhal). The announcement of the Best Paper Award 2023 concluded the successful Annual Meeting.
