Following ETS, six of our doctoral researchers met in Chania for the GS-IMTR PhD Retreat 2026. Over four days, participants discussed recent research results, exchanged ideas on ongoing projects, and explored opportunities for future collaboration.
The program also included a fireside talk on career paths in academia and industry, a dissertation-writing workshop, and preparations for the graduate school's anniversary event. Together with informal activities in Chania’s historic old town, the retreat provided a valuable setting for scientific exchange and community building within GS-IMTR.
